FAQ

Aluminium forging industries – common questions

Which industries do you forge aluminium parts for?

Bicycle, motorcycle, automotive, robotics, UAV, aerospace, marine, medical, fitness, power tools, valves and pumps, compressors, railway, construction, electronics and more — 22 industries are covered on this page.

Which aluminium alloys do you forge?

6061, 6063, 6082 and 7075. 6061-T6 is the default for most structural parts; 7075 is used where higher strength is needed.

Can you machine the forged parts too?

Yes. Forged blanks are finished in-house on 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC, turning and mill-turn centres, for parts up to 500 mm and tolerances to ±0.01 mm.

What surface finishes are available?

Anodising in black or silver (including Type III hard anodise), bead blasting, polishing, brushing and spray painting.

How long do forged samples take?

Forging dies take 20–25 days and forged samples about 30 days. Pure CNC samples ship in 3–5 days.

Do you make prototypes or small batches?

Yes. Pure CNC parts start from 1 piece, so you can validate a design before moving to forged production.

What quality documents come with each batch?

A material certificate and a finished-part inspection report with every batch, plus a DFM report on request. Inspection uses CMM, and surfaces are machined to Ra 0.8 where specified.

What is your first-pass yield?

99% first-pass yield across forged and machined production.

Who holds the rights to the forging dies?

You receive the right to use the dies for your parts; die design rights remain with our company.

How do I get a quote for my industry part?

Send a drawing (STEP, IGES, DWG or PDF) through the request form or WhatsApp. We reply with a DFM review and a quote for the CNC and forged routes.

Send one drawing

Tell us the industry, quantity and alloy — we return a DFM review and both routes quoted.
